The app
Tend provides a no-contact streak tracker, journaling tools, and an AI-assisted message checker to support you after a breakup. It is not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment, and using it does not create a therapist-client or doctor-patient relationship.
Subscriptions
Tend is free to use. Tend Plus is an optional paid upgrade that unlocks the AI features without limits, plus a scrapbook PDF export, your full mood history and a richer widget (monthly/annual subscriptions with a free trial, or a one-time lifetime purchase, as shown at purchase). Free users get a small number of AI uses each week. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date, through your Apple ID / Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple/Google per their own policies — we cannot issue refunds directly.
Acceptable use
Don't use the app to harass, impersonate, or harm others. The AI features are meant for your own reflection, not for generating content to send to or about another specific person in a harmful way.
No warranty / limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is." AI-generated responses (in the checker and journal reflections) are suggestions, not professional advice, and may be inaccurate or unhelpful in some cases. We are not liable for decisions made based on the app's content. If you are in crisis, do not rely on this app — contact a crisis service or emergency number directly.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the changes.
